Phil Cowan, Birdtographer
Blogger Phillip Cowan is a retired healthcare professional (RN) living in California City with his wife, Elizabeth and son, Matthew. Always loving birds, Phil only became a serious birder last year. Photgraphy is his art and birds are his subjects. Most any day will find Birdtographer strolling somewhere in Central Park or sitting in his red camp chair with the latest Grisham, Follett, or Clancy tome, practising the Gretzky Technique, alternately reading and scanning the tree tops. He routinely tramps Central Park and Tierra del Sol Golf Course often pausing to let the birds come to him. Birdtographer makes periodic day trips to Galileo Hill and Jawbone Canyon in avian pursuits.
