Meet Sir Winston Churchill, a Tundra Swan (Cygnus columbianus) and a long time denizen of Central Park. However, last summer, a female Tundra Swan arrived and stole Sir Winston's heart. Local birders named her Clementine. In spring 2011, she persuaded Sir Winston to migrate north with her. We hope they will return in the fall. Click either picture to return to Blog.
